August 14th to August 20th

To get to Denver we had to cross the Monarch Pass. Our campground was Bear Creek Lake Campground which also has two Soda lakes. You could learn to ski behind a motorboat, kayaks, SUPs. And lots and lots of concrete bike trails.

We stayed five nights on Bear Creek Lake campground.

Red Rock theater was 4 miles away. They were preparing for someone to preform that evening. We could walk the trail and see some of the rocks. We also saw our one and only rattlesnake.

We visited Hudson Garden and enjoyed all the ponds and sculptures. There was an adventure lab within the gardens with a bonus geocache.

The double rainbow from our Bear Creek Lake camp spot.
At 6:00 a.m. Saturday morning we started moving towards East planned on traveling about 400 miles and then staying for two nights.

This was our first stop in Nebraska. Nice enough campsite but don't always want to believe Google maps. She took us down gravel roads and we didn't have to do that.
