August 7th to 13th
Telluride was a beautiful little town and you rode and gondolas to get there from the village. Free parking free ride all the way down
We moved to elk Creek for 4 days
People use rubber rafts to ride Gunnison River and fish
Salida Colorado was very interesting seemed as though the whole town was down by the river. Many were surfing on the river or tubing.
If you look closely at the cornet Creek flood plaque above you'll see that a house was actually knocked off of its foundation. They use mules to get it back on. The picture below is the current house.

We walked down pine canyon 232 steps to a beautiful River Walk.

In Gunnison we went to the pioneer museum which had anything that you can think of from telephones photographs the cars the trains to washing machines pressure cookers wedding dresses.
They had one building that was devoted to Coors

This was an interesting fiberglass trailer that someone had customized and even had wings.
