October 2 through October 8th



Spent two days at Myrtle Beach State Park. Had to try the bike trail.






The beach is always nice here.


A nice campground on Blythe Island close to Brunswick Georgia was our next stop.
this little guy was on one of the trails.

The island has a paper plant across the way and also a port. You have to look close you can see big ships.
Is campground has semi tame rabbits. They wander around and usually are begging for carrots or lettuce.
The trails are very nice.
They had bunny cages for the young ones. Becky named these guys for our grandchildren.
In Brunswick one item to see is lover's oak.

  We spent 3 days at fort desoto one of our favorite camping places the beach is absolutely beautiful. We spent two days at paines prairie, not enough time here. Wild Horses and Buffalo roam the park. We will probably be stopping here again. Adventure lab took us to a town next to the park called Micanopy. This town was very interesting and had a lot of old houses a neat downtown area that is mostly antique shops now. You don't want to miss this adventure lab. Saturday we came to Seminole lake to a corps of engineer campground called East Bank. Very nice campground

May 22 to 28

For friends who do not have campers and want to stay at a bed and breakfast this one located in Ellijay, Georgia would be on my list. The house is very nice and the bottle house is right behind the home and you can sit out there and have a glass of wine at the table. There is a geocache at the bottle House and the owners came out and told us to go into it. The little town of Talking Rock has a brewery in old train cars. we moved our home to Edgar Evins State Park in Tennessee. The camp spots are very unusual here. Every campsite is built on a platform which is basically a bridge. All of them are over a cliff. If you go to their website they tell you the measurements of each platform and you also have to be careful on a slant of the approach on some of them. We became Junior rangers here. September 18th to 24th

We visited with Mickey and Donna McQuay and went to many places in the area. One was the eternal flame, if you're ever in Buffalo area look this one up nice hike and it is amazing. We had lunch at barbells, famous for wings and Wreck, a loaded roast beef sandwich. Notice the sign this is in an old type five and dime store. We also went to the canal area in Buffalo. We were able to get on a destroyer and also a ship and a submarine. We left Buffalo and traveled to Lackawanna State Park close to Scranton Pennsylvania Because of a tropical storm we did not go to the Jersey shores to visit Patty and Tom. We had five days of rain. We did one adventure lab that was in a cemetery. Never seen a cemetery with so many crips and they decorate them for fall Had to put these two in because this is their first pre-kindergarten pictures. Eden and Olivia Smith
