October 9th to 16th

52 years ago we came to St. Augustine, we have always loved this town.

We have stayed at Anastasia island every time we have been here. This is our campsite number 27

We rode our bikes to town and across the bridge of Lions each day. It is about 10 miles plus any riding around town.

We went to visit the fort, interesting airplane entrails

One of our favorite restaurant  we did not eat there this time but they have neat tree houses.

The whole town has fun with Halloween.

New restaurant and open 3 weeks and they have one in Savannah. The name is said trailer park.

Order the Nachos, not your usual.Waffle fries, chicken and fantastic sauce. Share with at least one other person.
The last day we were here it rained about 6 in. And none of our streets was flooding but there was some.

We had about an inch or two of water for a few hours, but the other end of the campground and a lot.

At Oscar scherer we had a great surprise when our friend Chris Phipps was camp next to us. Plus her little friend sweetie. Sweetie and Doug bonded immediately.

As we came across the bridge into Punta Gorda it seemed like it was home.

Tweety is glad to be home with mast confusion right behind.

This is a total miles that the Durango has pulled a trailer and we have pulled this trailer this trip over 8,061 MIles. We had to change the tires on the car and the trailer during the trip. When we left the car had 37,500 miles on it. Changed the oil twice and rotated the tires twice. Gas mileage
overall it's been about 18 miles gallon.

Better way to end our trip and to go to Gatorz
